William Morgan who wanted nothing more than to open up his own business. So, one day, he decided to buy a beat up caravan, an espresso machine, walk away from his full-time job and the Vagabond Coffee Company was born. Thanks to popular demand and good business, you can find Vagabond's mobile coffee shop in downtown's Hemming Plaza. Recently, Vagabond opened its first brick-and-mortar coffeehouse on Edgewood Avenue in Murray Hill.
Vagabond’s menu features lattes, pour-overs, chemex coffees, and drip coffees. They can also whip you up a cappuccino, macchiato…basically anything you want. They use single-origin espresso beans and brew locally produced beans, mostly from Bold Bean. Morgan’s wife, Samantha, bakes up treats to sell alongside the coffee.
