9. Urban Grind Coffee Company

The Urban Grind was established in 2010, and has since expanded to two downtown locations. There is the Urban Grind Express and the Urban Grind Coffee Company. Located in the lobby of the Bank of America Tower, the express location is for quick, on-the-go folks.  Earlier this year, a second location, the Urban Grind Coffee Company, opened at 45 West Bay Street. The new coffeehouse is geared more towards people who would like to sit and relax. This eco-friendly location is a renovation of a century old space in the Drew Building, featuring upcycling fixtures and repurposed construction salvage.  

The Urban Grind roasts and flavors their coffee in small batches. They also serve bistro-style food like sandwiches and soups.
