APA First Coast presents the first in the 2018 Speaker Series to address Housing in northeast Florida. The series aims to discover how people choose to live in the First Coast by location, type of housing, neighborhood characteristics, and financial decisions.

The first in the series - Housing & Growth in Nassau County - combines the planning directors for the City of Fernandina Beach and Nassau County with private sector partners from Wildlight and the Florida Home Builders Association.

Moderated by Margo Moehring, Director of Policy & Planning with the Northeast Florida Regional Council, the panel will discuss how they contribute to advancing sound planning policy and implementing a quality vision for Nassau County using the Sector Plan, individual builders and County plans as resources.

Panelists Greg Jones and Greg Matovina represent private sector partners working with the County to advance planning policy and implement a quality vision for the county. Together with planning directors, Taco Pope and Kelly Gibson, this well rounded panel will present how Nassau County is augmenting a slim planning budget to go beyond regulatory mandates for enhanced community design.
