About "Memphis"
Hot rock & roll songs, roof-raising dancing and forbidden interracial romance spark the story of smooth-talking rebel Huey Calhoun, a white radio DJ who falls in love with the music he hears in the black underground dance clubs of 1950s Memphis.  He also falls hard for Felicia, a black singer whose career he wants to promote on his radio show. Huey has to fight opposition on both sides of the racial divide, but he knows that “Everybody wants to be black on a Saturday night.”

The first two performances on Friday and Saturday sold out, but you can still get tickets for the rest of the summer here: http://www.playersbythesea.org/memphis.html
