Like any city, both Great and Small, Jacksonville's history reflects decisions which ended up changing its history---both for the better and for the worse. We spend a lot of time thinking about some of our more notable mistakes, but today we'd like to talk about some of the things that we got absolutely right. Join us after the jump for a list of 10 really great decisions we made as a city.

Keep Max in Jax Campaign

One of the great successes of its time.  It is overshadowed historically by the nearly simultaneous acquisition of an NFL franchise, but a great move that kept manufacturing in the city, from an international enterprise that was seriously considering closing.

As a result, we kept the jobs, the manufacturing tradition, and of course that amazing smell as they roast coffee beans and blanket the city in one of the aromas that has inspired mankind for centuries.
