Jacksonville Fashion Week officially kicks off with a Panel Event and cocktail party at The Museum space! A panel of five respected professional from different backgrounds within the Fashion Industry will be sharing advice, strategies and cocktails with a crowd of Industry aspirants and Jville's fashion interested. Leigh Cort: National travel and lifestyle public relations professional who has worked with numerous destination resorts, restauarants and even Donald Trump himself.
Gabrielle Lynch: Designer wholesales vetran who has previously worked for Calvin Klein, Proenza Schouler, Cynthia Rowley and Vera Wang.

Jenn Talley – Digital Branding & Fashion/Luxury Publishing

Jenn Talley grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from the University of North Florida. She moved with her husband to California, where she worked for a leading luxury and wedding magazine publisher. He published works included writing for fashion and accessory brands Robert Marc, Sergio Rossi, and Breitling. Now calling New York City home, Jenn has worked at Teen Vogue Magazine producing fashion and beauty photo shoots, working with notable designers, makeup artists and hair stylists. She led the development of the recently launched 3D fashion styling mobile game called Teen Vogue Me Girl. She has also partnered with retailers and fashion and beauty brands that include Rebecca Minkoff, Chris Benz, Proenza Schouler, Cheap Monday, ASOS, Lancome, and others, for digital branding and integrated marketing and publishing campaigns.

Jenn is a runner and kickboxer. Her favorite designers/labels are Rag & Bone, Phillip Lim, and Olivier Theyskens. She lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan (about 300 steps away from Barneys) with her husband, dog and cat.

Elizabeth Olsen –Owner/Designer of Intl. vegan footwear line

Elizabeth Olsen is the owner/designer of international vegan footwear brand OlsenHaus. Elizabeth holds a Accessories Design degree from FIT in NYC in Accessories Design, and a Liberal Arts Degree from University of Florida. Her experience in the industry honed her knowledge of business, management, creation of brand, imaging and marketing. Notable positions from her professional career have included the Creative Director for Tommy Hilfiger handbags, and creative direction and design for Calvin Klein, Bulga, Nine West, Anne Klein, Jodi Arnold, wardrobe and prop stylist in film, commercials and print for clients Nike, Nike Goddess, IBM, Nissan, Corbis and Universal Studios to name a few. In addition she held the position of Producer and Head of Wardrobe for the photography agency Superstock, managing photo shoots, casting, locations and setting up a temporary studio in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

OlsenHaus is sold in 14 countries at select retailers that include Nordstrom, Barneys, Fred Segal, Amazon, Brandos, Ekyog and Ron Herman. Olsenhaus and Elizabeth have received extensive press both domestically and internationally. Highlights include Vogue, Marie Claire, InStyle, Oprah, Lucky, Nylon, Paper, The New York Times, The Wall St Journal, Bravo’s The Fashion Show with Isaac Mizrahi, TV Guide’s The Fashion Team with Colbie Cailet. Leigh Cort –Travel/Lifestyle Publicist

Leigh Cort’s passion for travel, food and celebrities takes her to barrier islands, chef’s tables, world class resorts and acclaimed historic inns. Her public relations company Leigh Cort Publicity specializes in creative PR campaigns and integrated marketing as she represents restaurants, historic hotels and bed & breakfast inns, private islands, celeb chefs and specialty foods. Whether she’s promoting St. Augustine, Eagle Island GA, Savannah, St. Simons Island GA or Spring Lake NJ, there is always a touch of ‘show business’ associated with her clients and projects. Leigh is held in high esteem by food, travel and lifestyle writers for her flawlessly orchestrated ‘Media Trips’ and has garnered top client placement in The Price is Right, The Wall Street Journal, London Times, and Southern Living Magazine to name a few. Leigh is also a 10 year veteran of the Board of Directors for IFWTWA as Public Relations Chairman (International Food Wine & Travel Writers).

Prior to starting her own company, she served as Party Director for New York City’s distinguished Trump Tower during its early years, where she produced and promoted galas for the international ‘rich and famous’. She became The Party Doctor soon after, writing and starring on television for Nabisco and Lifetime TV. Then under the watchful eye of Vincent Sardi, she entertained the famous show business crowd in Manhattan at Sardi’s. Her next project, The Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island, filled the ensuing years with special events designed for celebrities and international guests.

Sophia Gholz -­‐ Creative Artist Management & Professional Photo Retoucher

Sophia Golz has extensive history working in the business side of the fashion industry. She’s previously owned and operated her own artists rep agency working as an agent representing photographers, stylists and creative directors as well as her own photo production company. A few years ago she chose to focus on retouching photos professionally and closed her other businesses. Retouching professionally within the fashion industry is a large part of the fashion world and if you’ve picked up any fashion magazine, you’ve no doubt seen her work.

Sophia & her husband now base themselves out of Jacksonville Beach while they raise their two year old daughter. Both she and her husband have maintained their busy careers and Sophia has continued to work with the greats and elite in the industry as a freelance retoucher since.

In addition to various advertising campaigns and magazines, Sophia has been fortunate enough to work on the images of some of the legendary photographers in the industry like Peter Lindbergh & Steven Meisel. Her client list includes, Vogue (India, Italia, Espana, China, US), Elle (UK, France), Maxim, HBO, Sony Records, Harper's Bazaar (US, Arabia, UK), MTV, Perry Ellis Int., Anne Cole Swimwear, V Magazine, Dazed & Confused Magazine, Laundry by Shelli Segal, Sports Illustrated Swim (US, UK), Jag Swimwear, GQ (US, UK), Wolf Kasteler (Celebrity PR Agency) & Nylon Magazine among many others.

Gabrielle Lynch – Designer Sales Account Executive
Hailing from Florence, South Carolina, veteran designer sales executive Gabrielle Lynch began her career when she moved to Manhattan to complete her degree with a Bachelors of Business Administration at Pace University. While in school in New York, she began interning and freelancing with Calvin Klein, Cynthia Rowley, Proenza Schouler, Vera Wang and Polo Ralph Lauren. Directly out of school, she was offered a full time position with Proenza Schouler. After nearly four years with the company, she moved on to do some freelancing with Anna Sui, Alexander Wang and then landed a position in the contemporary industry with Ali Ro. She has conducted sales market appointments for both domestic and international clients during New York Fashion Week and also traveled to Paris during Paris Fashion Week. In addition, she has also attended tradeshows in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Atlanta. Over the years, she has managed 300+ specialty store accounts in addition to major retailers like Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys NY, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Harvey Nichols London & Hong Kong, Amazon and Zappos.

After nearly 10 years in New York, she decided to relocate to Jacksonville, FL in July 2012 to be closer to her family.
