All month long, the evil geniuses over at Five Points Movie Theater will be featuring Horror Classics for the Friday Night Midnight Movies!. Grab a date, some popcorn and enjoy some old fashioned fearful fun! Nothing like stumbling out of a horror movie at two in the morning!

Are they going to show "The Creature from the Black Lagoon"?  A really neat part of that movie was filmed right here in Jacksonville.  Showed the Creature swimming down the St. John's and going into the Lobster House Restaurant which was  located roughly where River City Brewing is now.  \

I think the other parts were filmed at Silver Springs or at Wauculla Springs.
