Franklin Matthews Debut Solo Show at Bogda.
After dipping his toe into several of the indie group shows and a few artwalks, Painter Franklin Mathews will be featured in his first Solo show at Bogda Gallery.
Mathews collection for the show is calm but beautiful, a kind of weeping willow, Wuthering Heights collection of monochromatic trees against a watery windy backdrop.

June 16, 2009, 11:37:47 AMJust an update. Joy is doing a redux of the show this weekend (Sat. 20th from 8pm to 11pm) because of really bad weather first weekend and a parking conflict due to the Fruit Loop across the street.
If you didn't go, go. Frank's style is phenomenal and there's some really reasonably priced pieces. The larger pieces are the kind of thing that make you go "whoa".
Drinks and light snacks are the normal M.O..
