Six Awesome Restaurants Opening in Downtown
December 23, 2014 36 commentsA restaurant revolution has engulfed downtown Jacksonville. Here are six awesome restaurants and dining scenes on their way to downtown's streets.
Brooklyn Station "Restaurant Row"
Jacksonville-based Regency Center is well on their way to transforming their Brooklyn Station shopping center into a bonefide "restaurant row" along Riverside Avenue in Brooklyn. With the Corner Bakery Café recently opened and Burger Fi on its way, a fourth building has broken ground at Brooklyn Station. Its tenants will include Zoe's Kitchen, Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops, Burrito Gallery, and space for two additional eateries. Zoe’s Kitchen will be relocating within the market to upgrade their visibility, parking, and presence. Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops is a very unique concept that is cutting edge and flat out delicious! Burrito Galley is a local concept with very experienced operators of many different brands in Jacksonville. They plan to have a rooftop bar and dining area, an indoor/outdoor bar on the ground floor, and they are considering a fire pit for the large patio seating.
