Metro Jacksonville visits a secluded public space that's 175 feet below one of the city's most iconic structures: Dames Point Park.
Amenities at the 9.1 acre park include a fishing pier, picnic tables, picnic shelters, a drinking fountain and restrooms. If you're in search of a place to sit back, relax and enjoy the surroundings, this park should be on your shortlist. In addition, trip to the park also provides a great look at the operations of JAXPORT's newly completed Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF), Blount Island and Dames Point terminals.
