About Go Stake Day
Every year on June 21, skateboarders around the globe celebrate the pure exhilaration, creativity, and spirit of one of the most infuential activities in the world by blowing off all other obligations to go skateboarding. In Jacksonville, a non-profit called PB&J (Party, Benefit & Jam) and Kona Skatepark hosted a skate jam for Go Skate Day in Hemming Plaza in Downtown Jacksonville. The event was intended to bring awareness for the Kona School combining skating with academic studies. It accomplished this goal and further validated the idea that all Hemming Plaza needs is programming to energize it and the surrounding blocks.

June 25, 2012, 09:40:33 AMTo be fair, Allegretti was pretty helpful in getting the permitting through. Actually instrumental.
But you are right, the tie is hilarious.
The wholly unironic self promotion is just typical at this point, lol.
