Our downtown already has the complementinginfrastructure in place. However, it's not in LaVilla and it won't be there anytime soon, no matter how many master plans and task forces are put together. Metro Jacksonville'ssolution to the convention center problem is a three part task that will require different public agencies to plan together.

1. Construct a new county courthouse onseven blockmoonscape.

2. Construct a new mixed use vertical convention center complex on old courthouse site.

3. Convert the Prime Osborn into the Jacksonville Transportation Center.

It should be interesting to see how the task force's work plays out.
