With car rental giant Hertz Corporation's decision to relocate to Lee County, Florida has seventeen companies on the Fortune 500 list of the nation's biggest companies by revenue. According to the 2014 Fortune 500 list, the First Coast continues to stack up well when compared to Florida's other metropolitan areas.
