The street style segment may have taken a bit of a hiatus, but MelMel and GJoseph were back on the scene just in time for Park(ing) Day.

Park(ing) Day was a success in many ways. While checking out the scene we got to say hello to Mayor Alvin Brown, stuff our faces with the always-delicious Burrito Gallery, donate to charity, scope out some cool makeshift park spots and see some equally awesome street style as well.
Just outside of Zodiac Bar and Grill, we spotted executive director of Greenscape Anna Dooley lounging in yellow Cole Haan shoes. The snakeskin loafers prove comfy footwear can still be stylish.
Just Fitness was posted up outside of Burrito Gallery with spin bikes, so naturally after stuffing our faces with yummy Cajun shrimp tacos we decided to hop on them and work off the calories. To our pleasant surprise, we learned the gym would donate $5 to Feeding America on behalf of anyone who road a machine for any amount of time. Turns out we werent the only ones feeling generous, as we met two fashionable ladies also eager to bike for a cause.
Here, Staci Bushea is wearing loose-fitting grey high rise pants and a floral top. Her pixie-cut completed the look of an effortlessly sweet and modern ensemble.
Summer Wood was finally able to break out a ¾ length shirt due to Septembers breezy weather. She also sported black and blue two colors that were very prominent together in Fall 2012 runway shows.
As we were concluding our day downtown and heading home, the sound of a DJ spinning outside of Daniel James Salon persuaded us to walk over. There, we met some of the stylish employees.
Tiffany (left) said when it comes to her personal style, she plays by her own rules. On this day she looked youthful and bright in an owl-print top, tie-dye skirt and a braided updo. Joanna (right) stayed casual and cute in Burlap TOMS.
The employees also accessorized with some fun, chunky arm décor. Could statement arm-jewelery be another fall trend? Well be out and about investigating for evidence of that and more for the next edition of Street Style.
