BRT Coming to a Northside Street near you?
Despite strong sentiment towards rail across the country, a rail friendly administration in Washington, and the pro-rail push from Metro Jacksonville, JTA is determined to move forward with bus rapid transit as a major early element of Jacksonville's future regional transit network.

The first (heavily modified) 10.5 mile corridor will extend from downtown, north along Boulevard Street, to Gateway Mall, continuing north along Norwood Avenue/Lem Turner Road, and ending south of Armsdale Road (near I-295).
