I intern for someone who is a big proponent of the High Line. While a great idea and a wonderful asset to any city that has the old infrastructure to work with, the High Line cost over $150 Million. I am not sure if something similar would cost as much in Jax, but the price seemed pretty steep to me for the result. I suppose these ideas can at least spur some private philanthropists in Jax to think outside the box, and actually, many do. Where we lack is where we all agree: city leadership.
