Don't miss the grand opening tomorrow. I passed by there tonight, and the place looks awesome. It is gorgeous. I was able to see The Capital Grille, Mitchell's Fish Market, Louis Vuitton, West Elm, Urban Outfitters, Puma, and Swarovski. There was also a  huge site clearing of the lot that is next to Costco at the Gate Pkwy / Town Center Dr intersection. I wonder what that is for? Anyway, I went to Simon's website under events, and saw that there will be a Margarita machine infront of Tommy Bahamma tomorrow, so ummmm... I will definately be there during my lunch break.

There are also a few promotions for opening week here:

Thanks for the update.  I passed by on JTB tonight and it looks like they'll be pulling an all nighter to get prepared for tomorrow.

I just got back from my lunch break... and it was great! The restaurants are still underconstruction, and Lacoste & True Religion are not open yet. The place was extremely packed, despite the rain. I will post photos when I get home this afternoon. GOOD JOB JACKSONVILLE!

THANKS GRADCO!

I had no idea it turned out so nice!  Congratulations Jacksonville your wait for luxury retail is finally over.  Bring on Phase 3!

Phase 2 just finished, and already something new is about to start coming out of the ground. Balfour Beatty Construction has just cleared that large lot across from Costco... at the intersection of Gate & Town Center Pkwy. Maybe someone with the know-how can do some digging to find out what it is.

BTW... the new phase is everything I imagined it to be. Lacoste, True Religion, Balfour Design, and Pottery Barn are some of the stores that I noticed were not open. The restaurants were not open yet either. Clearly, people were waiting for certain stores to come, Urban Outfitters, PUMA, and Louis Vuitton had the most traffic from what I observed.

well i would like to say phase three is on top of phase two.  but these open air malls dont tend to do multi-levels of retail like indoor malls.  but hopefully phase three will put some residential above or least some office space.
