Inside and Outside the Peyton Circle of Trust

Who's In   Who's Out? Maybe Dave Flagler should join up with John Culbreth and Randy White and start a club. Maybe they could call themselves the  Outsiders  or the  Uncool  or the  Problem-Makers .

I know you all are not big fans of the Mayor....but please understand....he got re-elected in a landslide....and he gets to decide who stays in his administration

BTW....I highly doubt that Culbreath's replacement (parks & rec) will have much say about a new animal shelter!

With the voter turnout as low as it was, I don't think you could call it a landslide even if he got 100% of the votes.

I think the voter turnout and the amount of votes he didn't get spoke pretty loudly. He had no opposition. Did anyone really expect the lady that dressed as Aunt Jemima to a city council meeting to win mayor?  ::)

How did he get re-elected? Like Scarface said, "...in this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power."

If the voters were truly upset, they would have showed up....and the fact that there was no real opposition speaks to his overall power and support in the city

I think the letter next to his name helped too.

i agree. the mayor should be able to appoint whoever he wants to whatever position he wants.  it shouldn't matter if they are at all qualified or not.  come to think of it, on another level, why does the senate have to vet our president's choices?  he should be able to appoint whoever he likes.

I would like to see a donkey head up at least one department. Can Peyton do that?
