Bad news for North Florida LJS lovers, the Gainesville locale on Newberry Rd has closed. It was torn down to make way for a future Panda Express (building from the ground up on site). I thought that I was going crazy trying to find it before my VA checkup at the Hospital. Now the closest one to Jax is in Ocala.
Thanks for the news I have gone to that LJS for years when I was in Gainesville. :(

We live on the ocean and a major river. Fresh seafood is caught daily and served in a number of local spots for an affordable price. I won't lose any sleep.

I love the local seafood we are blessed with. And I enjoy going to several different restaurants to get it. Or bring to home fresh from a local seafood market to cook it at home. But I grew up on Long John Silvers and I loved the beer battered fish the most. I just find it sad that a lot of the fast food restaurants I once loved are gone. :(

But you may live longer without all that fast food, If I Loved You.  (Or will it "just seem longer?"  :-) )

Harpoon Louie's just across the Fishweir Creek bridge is a good choice anytime.
