Don't think this is actually historic Springfield as FCN calls it.

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- A six hour standoff in Springfield has come to a end.

It all started around 2 a.m. at a home near Fourth and Davis Streets.

Police say the armed man eventually decided to come out of his home and surrender to police.

A spokesperson says no shots were fired.

The man was wanted for warrants from an aggravated battery and assault. That incident happened this morning with the brother of the man inside.

Neighbors who were evacuated are now being allowed back to their homes.

No, no it's not. It's on the other side of boulevard.  I'm not sure if it's even Springfield let alone Historic Springfield.

I heard it was on Louisiana St?  Where the eff is that?  Historic Springfield, really?  Learn something new everyday it would seem.

This map is not accurate.  I'd really like to see one of the entire area that shows the boundaries for all neighborhoods.
