It is a good design and a positive addition to the Southbank/San Marco area. It is amazing how people can negatively criticize good design and economic growth in this economy.
hightowerlover: being tall doesn't make a building good, but it does call attention to it's bad design. You need to learn a little bit about architecture and design prior to making uninformed public comments.
Hurricane: I agree with you, but unfortunately Jacksonville doesn't have a strong group of truely local healthcare architects. GSP is the only one and they are actually based out of Nashville, TN. A hospital is a highly specialized building where long term experience is needed, so it is understandable why they felt they needed to look beyond our city limits, its unfortunate, by understandable.
