Audition for new, two-act comedy play by local playwright

A two-act comedy titled Testing: A Week in the Life of an Ex-Teacher is the world's first anti-standardized-testing play. Auditions for the play will be held on Sat., Jan. 3, 2009, from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Pablo Creek Branch Library, 13295 Beach Blvd. (between Kernan and Hodges Blvds.) in Jacksonville. (Auditioners: Please be aware that this is a non-paying role in community theater.)

Types needed are:

* a young Woody Allen-type with stage presence (lead male role)

* an affable, best-friend-type man

* an older, short, balding man

* a stocky, intimidating woman

* a relentlessly cheery woman

* a bitter but resigned woman

* a rebellious, cursing teenaged boy

* various office workers
