Thanks for sharing.  On the bucket list.

Surprised that in some of the pictures there aren't more crowds, especially around some of the landmarks.  I keep reading how Europe is overrun with tourists, especially Americans with the strong dollar, this summer.  I do note that they say Paris is down some as people are avoiding it due to the Olympics and high hotel prices relating to that so maybe this is reflected here.

This was my second time in Paris. It was less crowded than I remember but still very vibrant in comparison to anything in the US. There were still crowds in some of the more well known spots but the set up for the Olympics was well underway. What stood out the most to me was that the majority of the buildings have been pressure washed recently. It was like the city took a bath.
