August 24 was celebrated as National Burger Day. In 1885, the burger was born when the Menches brothers served beef between bread at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg, New York. Jacksonville has its own burger history stories and contributions as well. From the first ever Burger King to long-gone local chains, here's a look at five burger facts from Jacksonville history.
