Quote
The item, listed without details on the cabinet’s public agenda, came up in the last few minutes of a meeting Tuesday and was quickly approved by DeSantis, Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis and Attorney General Ashley Moody.

I don't know the particulars of this legislation, but the slight of hand of not providing details on the agenda is a BIG RED flag that it is a bad idea and/or driven by special interest.  FL is suppose to be 'government in the sunshine', and this is the opposite of that.

Sugar Cane fields immediately south of Lake O...... former Glades Flow Lands..... are now angling for development.
This is why Glades Restoration has stalled...... the Marshall plan; Art Marshall, recognizing Glades “ System” and natural Flow Way, a retreat from compartmentalization ( and current high levee “ Reservoir “ promotion back by the Everglades Foundation..) has been carefully disemboweled.

For some reason.....none of this was an "Issue" in the recent Governor Campaign narrative.....
