I have fond memories of Marineland. My family took a couple of nice weekend vacations there in the early to mid 90s. There was a hotel there, and a great dining room. There was also a lot more than just dolphins. Across A1A they had birds (I remember the toucans in particular), reptiles, electric and moray eels, and more. They had in the interior of the main building a replica of an old diving suit from at least a century ago - the kind with the multiple port holes in the helmet. It used to freak me out. They had quite a few big sawfish in the main tank, as well, that I loved.
Marineland certainly holds a special place in my heart and I'm glad it is still around in some capacity. Thanks for the pictures and providing some of the history.
