VA selects North Jacksonville location for outpatient clinic

After evaluating several sites, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs chose a 28-acre North Jacksonville site for an outpatient clinic.

The 164,054-square-foot clinic will be developed at northwest Hyatt Road and Max Leggett Parkway.

It will replace the Jacksonville VA Southpoint clinic at 6900 Southpoint Drive N. and the Jacksonville VA University clinic at 3901 Memorial Health Plaza in Southside.

Sooo... one clinic at one non central location will replace two at off setting locations?  Probably makes sense from a budgetary aspect... not so much for the patients...
