Jacksonville "Wards" - Neighborhoods?
« on: July 31, 2019, 01:33:43 PM »
In doing genealogy, I have seen info on family members who lived in, for example, 'Jacksonville, Ward 4', among others.  According to Ancestry.com public trees, these 'wards' were info taken from old public directories.  Can anyone tell me how I may find a list of the former 'wards' of Jacksonville, and maybe the maps, so that I can further pinpoint where my ancestors lived in the City?  If these would be accessible online, it would be of great help to me and I thank you.

I have a map of the ward system. I'm away from the computer right now but I'll post it later.
