I went this weekend! Nice space, definitely gonna give them a few months to add more beers and improve the ones they currently have. The one I had wasn't that good.

I drove by around 830 on Friday and it looked pretty crowded. So did the new taco place next door. I hope to try both in the next couple weeks.

I did the same. Both were definitely crowed Friday night. I plan to try both later this month.

Nice looking place. The coffee blonde was decent. The saison was terrible. It tasted like soap. Maybe the glass wasn't clean? Maybe the line wasn't clean? Maybe the brewing equipment wasn't clean? Maybe it was just me? I took two sips, handed it to my wife, and the first thing she said was it tasted like soap. I didn't feel like awkwardly asking the bartender if my glass wasn't clean or if that's just what it tastes like. I don't love saisons generally, but I've never had one that was completely undrinkable.

Based on the coffee blonde alone I'll give them another shot once their IPA, Pilsner, and APA are out.

I think a single focus on sour beer is a mistake. I know that they that is not what they are serving right now, but a lot of people, who love drinking beer, are not into sours. It is an acquired taste.

Agreed, a little too niche. You gotta have a nice mix to succeed.

I live in the neighborhood and have been a couple times.
I'd definitely expect the beers to improve, one of the owners mentioned that they had some carbonation problems with an early batch or two.
Regardless, the space is great. You can also order tacos from the new restaurant next door and have them delivered to Fishweir, which is pretty cool.
Both businesses are good developments for Murray Hill.
