Poetry Nights in town
« on: October 07, 2018, 10:40:17 PM »
I'm completely new to the world of poetry and have been astounded to find that there is a thriving scene here in Jax. Here are a few I've found out about in recent months.

Bards & Brews at Silver Cow in Murray Hill - monthly @bardsandbrews on Instagram.

Spoken Word at Rain Dogs in Five Points - every Tuesday night 9-11.
Hosted by a local poet @kespoetrynight on Instagram. This one is a little more relaxed and fun.

Chamblin's Uptown has an open mic the last Wednesday of the month. They have a page on Facebook for more information.

The We Rise Fest on the Eastside is happening next week and I know there will be poets and speakers performing there.

Bab's Lab at CoRk, I haven't been to yet but I hear good things.

It's really cool, I had no idea Jax had all this talent and all these events happening.
