My old stomping grounds growing up.  My first job was in the area just south of Tallulah and Pearl called Pearl Court.  I always liked the area because the people there took care of their lawns and homes and the houses seemed so well built.  Now, they look rather small.  The park at the north end of Pearl was a great place to go in the 50s.  Pavilions with picnic tables, playground equipment, and huge moss draped oaks.  Thanks for the memories!

I grew up in Northshore on Laura St. I still drop in mostly to get pizza at Josephs. Very nice community that has managed to keep itself together compared to alot of the surrounding neighborhoods.
