Two much-anticipated openings happened this week. Hoptinger Bier Garden & Sausage House opened a huge restaurant at 1037 Park St. in the heart of Five Points, while Hawkers Asian Street Fare opened at 241 N. Atlantic Blvd. in Neptune Beach.

Let’s start with Hoptingers. The core menu, explained Darin Vangemi, general manager, is the same as its Jacksonville Beach and St. Augustine locations; however, the menu is tweaked to suit the neighborhood.

The 5 points Hoptinger is outstanding... plenty busy...
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Currently, it seats 120, with plenty of room to roam. Come sometime in March a rooftop bar will open where there will be games and its own small plates menu.

Good food, good beer selection, lotta Chads.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

I'm with you. It's also why I rarely leave my house, as it's the only place where the environment is exactly suited to my personality and outlook. It's my safe space, if you will.

I live alone.

Sorry in advance...  ;D

I mean...I don't expect everything to "exactly" suit my personality, but I am also not going somewhere where I find the vibe to be pretty douchey.

You might want to stop judging people based on the way they look. Have a beer with someone and strike up a conversation.

I just can't help myself today.  This one's a classic, and I'm pretty sure it's pretty accurate how MMR sees the new 'crowd'.
