"Losing" shows to St. Augustine is hardly the point, it's the same market. The point is to attract more shows to the metro area, and hopefully, shows that otherwise wouldn't play here. Not that this show necessarily wouldn't have come here regardless of the amphitheater, but it's the first one that's outside the sphere of shows that were safe bets for coming. More of this, please.
Must say I continue to be surprised that Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is still grabbing shows like Beach House, Drive By Truckers and Future Islands to play in a building with no seats in the middle of nowhere. Serious props to their booking team.
