It's Rise Against (not to be pedantic, just pointing that out).  And, compared to the other schlock, this is pretty good booking.

Thanks, I fixed it. Using Opera Mobile today for testing and struggling with editing. I was trying to import a graphic as well but that was fubar.

So, we still lost John legend to St Augustine. Not looking good so far. Mediocre lineup.

"Losing" shows to St. Augustine is hardly the point, it's the same market. The point is to attract more shows to the metro area, and hopefully, shows that otherwise wouldn't play here. Not that this show necessarily wouldn't have come here regardless of the amphitheater, but it's the first one that's outside the sphere of shows that were safe bets for coming. More of this, please.

Must say I continue to be surprised that Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is still grabbing shows like Beach House, Drive By Truckers and Future Islands to play in a building with no seats in the middle of nowhere. Serious props to their booking team.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is fucking awesome and I wish more bands would play there.  Nothing lamer than a seated concert.

Meh. They do book more than their fair share of good acts for Jax and it's an innovative re-use of a building that would be hard to find another use for. But it's in a terrible location, the sound is no good, and there's one thing lamer than a seated concert: folding chairs.

PV Concert Hall offers both seated and GA configurations.  I have been to assigned seating concerts (Steep Canyon Rangers, Josh Ritter), seated comedy shows and GA concerts there.

did we?

If you consider John Legend booking a May 14th show at the St. Augustine Amphitheater - two weeks before Daily's Place opens Memorial Day weekend and likely before final construction is even completed on our new facility - to be "losing" him to St. Augustine, then yes. We definitely lost John Legend.

I love Beach House and was very surprised to see that Ponte Vedra got their show.

I was really surprised to see Deftones coming to Daily's Place. That gives me hope that they're going to book a variety of acts there.

Lets wait to see if they bring in any Latin, or R & B acts before we ring that bell of divers shows. If the Landing or any such place announces a concert, you can almost bet your house it will be country or southern rock. Diversity is lacking. I don't see much change in this lineup yet.

Keep looking.

BTW - "Downer" isn't spelled right.  You have it as d-a-p-p-e-r.  You might want to fix that.  [thumbsup]
