PLEASE get rid of the floating banner
« on: January 06, 2016, 03:47:07 PM »
It following me as I scroll down the page, taking up real estate is quite irritating.

Other than that, thanks for the great work on the site!

The floating navigation bar is fine. Most people's eyes don't stay on the top of the screen when scrolling down, anyway, and it's convenient to have the nav field right there if you're in the middle of a large home page.

^I prefer it too.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

The only issue I have seen with the banner is on mobile devices, especially mobile Firefox.

As the graphics load, you think it is done, but it isn't and your touch link lands on a unplanned place as the banner moves to accommodate the rest of the content.

I just attributed it to how Firefox handles web graphics on slow internet links.
