That is a good idea, but i think as it is a maritime museum, it should be directly on the st. johns. the best location would be friendship fountain, as it would create a friendly park that will be right in the heart of downtown, and eventually when downtown is built up more, friendship park will be one of the famous city parks of the usa. The shipyards is an ok idea, but there isnt much room, and it still seems like settling compared to friendship. however, the decomissioned naval vessel is a grand idea, but it really wouldnt be breathable and fun for kids. riverside avenue seems out of the question to me as it is so far away from the heart of downtown (for walkers), and it seems like all jacksonville ever does is spread itself thin.
