This occurred about 60 days ago off the Arlington Expressway.

Just watched this. What a jerk that driver was. Get a grip.
Maybe so but he schooled the officers in the law. I wonder what happen to him that turned himself to distrust Police? I have in the past only been pulled over by Police for illegal U Turns, speeding, and running stop signs. My last ticket for any traffic violation was for speeding almost 10 years ago. I remember the JSO Cop walking up to my car and I said Yes Sir No Sir to his Q&A I was trying to get off on a warning or less of a ticket. When the Cop said TAKE IT LIKE A MAN :o to me. I then said give me the ticket so I can go on my way. He came back to my car with that attitude that he was God like. I got the ticket and drove off. And paid the fine in One dollar Bills. Maybe one day I will tell you why I lost faith in the JSO and it wasn't because of my speeding ticket? :P

I'll be honest with you - I've never had anything but positive interactions with police officers in Jacksonville. Then again, I am a middle class white male. But I've always been cooperative and respectful and they've always seemed to appreciate it. As a general rule, if I get caught breaking a traffic law, I admit it. I've never been pulled over for doing something I didn't know I was doing.

I'm a white guy also and like I said the last time a JSO cop pulled me over for a speeding ticket was 10 years ago. Now I have also know some good JSO cops from a SWAT member to a beat cop. So not all cops are bad. This being said I have still Lost Faith in the JSO overall. Maybe Mr Williams can shake up what needs to be done to the JSO and I can one day have Faith in the organization as a whole. :)

The fellow in the video didn't school anybody.  If you follow his comment history on various anti-police sites, you will find many crazy anti-government rants, including advocating armed rebellion.  Nuts.

Some places give discounted food/drink to police for the same two reasons they give it to firefighters: appreciation and the fact that they feel safer to police/JFRD is present.  It would only be bribery if they expected extra and inappropriate services as a result.

I looked at this dudes other video's and he has issues? But in this video IMO he schooled these cops. If he didn't have a video would it have ended better or worst for him? And when it comes to free food for cops, firefighters and other people on the Public payroll I hope there is a record of it. p.s. I'm grateful for some police officers for the job they do. And the others should change their profession IMO.  ;)[/color]

You are confusing letting a nut rant to his heart's content with being schooled.  I would imagine that sometimes it is better in an investigation to patiently listen to a person that is so caught up in thier own hubris that they end up answering all your questions.  Michale was so busy acting for his camera to create Youtube content that he gave himself away...

Quite frankly, if a woman believes she is being followed/stalked by a stranger, I would hope police would investigate, as they did.

I think it petty of you that with all the legitimate problems facing police that your flag is planted on the issue of discounted food.  If thats the best you can do to point a fault, then your privilege betrays you..

I could truly unload on what the JSO has done to a lot of "INNOCENCE PEOPLE" all because of other people filing FALSE Police Reports. And how much money they wasted on INVESTIGATING people that didn't do ANYTHING WRONG! Is this what the JSO or any police agency should be doing ruining Innocence People's LIVES? All because someone else is EVIL and doesn't give a Damn about the "FALSIFYING A POLICE REPORT" just to scare the INNOCENCE person? So AKIRA does this betray me or YOU!

School resource officer sued for allegedly handcuffing children with ADHD

http://edition.cnn.com/2015/08/04/us/aclu-disabled-students-handcuffed-lawsuit/index.html

Good thing this guy is a cop, even better that he works as a school resource officer in an elementary school.

Oh, and the "best" part:

Quote
"It's good to have a positive interaction with the kids and to be a good role model and to undo any negative stereotypes of law enforcement that some of the kids may have," Sumner told the River City News.
