Sights and scenes from Jacksonville's first-ever GastroFest event. Over 30,000 made the trip to downtown's rapidly improving Hemming Park to sample some of the finest cuisine the city has to offer.

Great pics and it looks as it was a smashing success. Seemed like a lot to cram in on one day. Any consideration of expanding this to 2 or 3 days?

And speaking of the opposite of success, did I hear right that they are proposing a second Connection Festival downtown? Wasn't the first one kind of underwhelming?
