Nice design.  Welcome to 2015 :)

Is there a way to add, under "Latest Discussion" in the right hand nag bar, the username and time of post?  This info used to be available.  That is the quickest way to follow discussions during a work day.  Otherwise, what is the best way to follow discussions?

If you hover on the link you'll see the info. I agree I prefer seeing that for all the recent threads at once, but if it's gone I will adjust.

Looks nice!  :) 8)
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

I agree. Well done
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Really like the new look.

Great work to all those involved.

Love the color scheme, fonts, anchored menu bar, etc.

Couple of observations:

1) I'm not sure if it's just my browser (Firefox), but the top section with the four feature stories automatically advances to the older stories almost immediately after the site launches for me.

2) Count me among those who rely on this great site & forum to follow what's going on in Jacksonville throughout the day. The most useful feature by far has always been the ability to quickly check in during the day and have the new posts highlighted along with the author and time of the last reply. If I've got a spare second at work, I can load up the site and instantly get a quick, glanceable view of what I've missed in the last two or three hours. Hovering doesn't offer those same visual queues and only provides meaningful information if the user remembers what the lost post he/she read was, when the last post was made, or who made it.

Very nice.  I do wish the 'Latest Discussion' topics were pulled apart more, so they don't all run together.  Love everything else.

Love everything, but as others have said I do miss the "Latest Discussions" feature not being front and center / having highlights or timestamps. It helped me keep up with what was going on. Now I can't tell if discussions have new comments without going into the "forum" section.

IE9 is a total fail on the home page at the moment. Its an old browser but still a corp standard on Windows 7 desktops.

Firefox Mobile is great until I tap the home page link in the forum display. It tries to take me to a private IP address hosting "mobile test"

Chrome Mobile displays everything good so far.

Opera Mobile stacks the graphics and topics, but there is no menu present.

I will go through my suite of browsers and see how it flies.

This isnt to criticize the authors, just evaluating how the site plays.

Looking good all! The only thing I would suggest would be not have the floating MJ toolbar up top when reading articles. Huge waste of space, but that just might be me. Otherwise, looks very web 2.0 :)
