This is going to be a really fun event.  There is a lot of history in Jacksonville that has gone largely untold.  These pop up history book events will be a way to showcase the rich history of our city.  Grab some lunch from a cool food truck and learn something new.

Follow the event and learn more details tomorrow morning at http://www.facebook.com/jaxpopuphistory

Wow - we want to participate, but we must be the only people on the plant not subscribing to social media other than email.  We do not own a cell phone and are not on facebook.  How can two ol' dinosaurs participate?

Come out today at 1pm, grab some lunch (and a beer) and witness history revealed before your eyes at the Pop Up History Book.

Location is the Jenks House at 2804 Post Street in Riverside.

How was this event? I was supposed to go but missed out. My grandfather went, as he lived on Post Street at the time. I hear there was a good turnout.
