There was activity at Pulp today. The door was open for the first time in months and about 5 people were standing in and out of the space. Also, they put up two signs in the windows, one for a construction company and the other for an interior design firm. Obviously, things are finally starting to happen there.

Here are the plans for Robert E. Lee High School: http://www.ajaxbuilding.com/current_projects_robertelee.html. I'm not sure if it's already been shared or not.

C/O 2000 graduate myself, very interesting to see what's ahead for Lee.

The froyo phenomenon is coming to Riverside.

In addition to the planned early August opening of Jacksonville's first Tasti D-Lite, two frozen yogurt shops are in the works.

Building permits were issued last week for Yonilla, a frozen yogurt shop planned for 1045 Park St. across from the 5 Points Theatre and Tasti D-Lite. (Tasti D-Lite is a frozen dessert that's neither frozen yogurt nor ice cream.)

And Mochi Frozen Yogurt — with shops already at the St. Johns Town Center and the Beach Blvd./Hodges Blvd. area — announced Wednesday on Facebook that it will open a Riverside location. According to a state restaurant licensing database, Mochi is planning a store at 1661 Riverside between Subway and Einstein Bros. Bagels.

Went to a Froyo place in DC Tuesday.  I had a praline froyo topped with pineapple, cherries and captain crunch.

Looks like Landing will be taking advantage of the Facade grants. I hope they due. The  "embelishing" ideas that they are throwing around are cool. They would like a street level prescene in front of the Landing and that is what we need.

The old gas station/temp parking lot in Avondale has a tenant. After how many years? It will be a 7-11.

Bring back the Jiffy Store, because we still have a lot of cases of jiffyfoot walking around town.

Ajax (architecture by Perkins+Will and RDB)  is building the new construction to the north and northwest of the school.  They are also performing the renovation of the historic building (second lee picture).
Danis (architecture by Dean Scott and JSA) is currently finishing the new construction to the south (first lee picture).

Are you serious on it being a 7-11 or am I not following the sarcasm?
