Thanks Bridge, I don't know how I managed to screw that up.

I have a lot more from underneath the Hyatt, but most of them are pretty blurry.  The flash bounces off the ceiling and the lens doesnt get to focus well.

We'll have two opportunities in August to experience the river.  Aug 6th, paddle from Hogans to Exchange Club Island.  And August 20th(Saturday) we'll be holding a large cleanup of Hogans Creek.

Kayaked a bunch over the weekend. Had an opportunity to see some baby gators. Not making it up. To see baby gators in the wild and just 12" long in late Sept. Very strange. It wasn't in Duval county.

But who wants to kayak in the heart of an Urban Waterway on Hogans Creek, McCoys Creek, The Promised 680'Downtown Public Pier. Under the Hyatt?

All these kayaks were stolen from my residence. There is a super crime wave in Dist.4. Talking with a number of people who have had canoes and boats, paddleboards, stolen. It's a good thing that the police scanners were taken away from media outlets.

Can there be an arrest. Yes. Here is the first clue. These items will show up next to water.

Do you have a description of the stuff? I drive by the river and the IC alot.

I don't frequent the many pawn shops, but that is usually where this stuff ends up.

If I see anything appear in the University/Beach pawn district, I will ping.

Here ya go... its a Mods life... :)

Almost two years later and it seems like yesterday. Had a friend call and he was out in the kayak today in what can now be referred to as the new Urban Core DIA zone and saw a manatee with a calf. How cool. The 4 kayaks that you see we're stolen from my residence. Still stolen.

On a positive note. City council Tues. Waterways Wend. And DIA Wend. Commissioners of FIND in Miami Friday. ( Not making that one.) Picture 12 Shipyards III. Hey, I've given up on asking you know who about you know what. The Public Trust just totally destroyed in this community.

Paul Crawford still waiting on the email for the 30 day RFI, RFP on the 40 acre Shipyard site. This was discussed at the 5/3/13 DIA Downtown Experience subcommittee meeting. And then highlighted at the Jax Pack meeting with the Special Events Director. Open up the Public Floating Dock at Shipyards.

Any Europeans, anyone outside of Duval county that wants to write a check even if it's for a buck to 2009-442 The Artificial Reef Trust Fund and the 6 permitted reefs south of the Fuller Warren I will deliver it personally on your behalf in 5 days at Waterways. Special invite to any FBI RICO agents that want a piece of this FEDERAL action. Heres a clue Palms Fish Camp.

Will DIA support a resolution that may come out of Waterways for a Boat Ramp Master Plan that could be attached to the 2013 FIND grant application package? Should be on the agenda for 5/15/13. I hope it's a 9 member unanimous yes vote. It's a positive.

I am Downtown and why you aren't.

Who's next?

What do you do when completely ignored by people in Authority positions that will decide not only you but everyone else's fate in wanting to participate in a vibrant, wholesome, engaging activity on our St. Johns  River our American Heritage River a FEDERAL Initiative in our new super duper highly restricted CRA/DIA in the USA zone?

At last nights 5/13/14 Jacksonville city council meeting 2014-305 was introduced. New legislation is no longer printed on the agenda (How morally and ethically wrong).

This legislation is time sensitive and again with legislative maneuvering and posturing will our decision makers be aware of this powerful and destructive legislation?

2014-305 was the direct result of the 4/2/14 noticed meeting on new docking Rules for not only DOWNTOWN but throughout the county. It was also revealed at this meeting that the yet to be built Southbank Riverwalk floating dock will have one vendor with a 10 year no compete clause. At the same time a handout that had consensus and support from Paige with OGC, Margo with the Administration, and Tera Meeks that a violation of these docking Rules can result in the immediate seizure of your vessel by various governmental agencies.

The 5/14/14 Jacksonville Waterways Commission meeting is just one hour out.
The legislation is time sensitive for the CRA/DIA consultants, Waterway Commission members, Jacksonville city council members, The Chamber, Does the Civic council have any clue about this? What is the position of DVI? Visit Jacksonville? JCCI? Should this story be on First Coast Connect?

Who will be the first local TV station that will pick up this story?

Visit Jacksonville? Welcome to Actionville!

Looks like fun and an interesting out of the way place to kayak.

Maybe a group of us will join you in August.

Why August? It should be happening every day. Listen to this sentence from the 4/9/14 Jacksonville Waterways Commission meeting minutes.

Council member Lori Boyer said that she would like to see a map that illustrates all the Public Access points on the Northbank made available.

So at today's 5/14/14 Jacksonville Waterways Commission meeting I asked councilman Redman if I could have that list. Didn't happen.  Do you think that this along with 2015-305 would be some good information for our CRA/DIA in the USA?

God bless council members Love and Boyer.
