Is it supposed to be so small?  When I think of a mural, I think of large art.  Not smallish interior decoration.

I was thinking of it would be like the mural at Everbank Field. But in all essence, it is still nice.

Not sure I would really classify that as a mural since it is separated panels. But it looks nice and is local specific, so good job.

I'm surprised the city didn't cry foul on this. Isn't it a violation of the sign ordinance? Screw it! I say every business rebels against this anti urban poloicy and erect signs and murals all over their buildings. What's the city going to do about it, arrest or fine everyone? If everybody defies this stupid law, it would be too much for the city to cope, and therefore bring it down with peaceful force!

They have been doing them gradually in all their branches nationwide...

In an effort to connect with its new communities, Wells Fargo, based in San Francisco, worked with local historical societies and universities to create murals that will be displayed in about a fifth of the branches, with more planned.

Wells Fargo started including historical murals in its new branches in 2002, completing 1,200 through 2009. Last year, 500 more were done, mostly in former Wachovia branches. The first Wachovia branches that Wells Fargo converted were in markets where both companies had branches, such as Colorado and California. Those were followed by markets in the South, where only Wachovia had branches.

These murals are part of a corporate plan for Wells Fargo to show its dedication to the communities in which their banks are located nationally.

“It’s been deliberate of the two companies that customer impact is minimized,” said branch manager Tim Curran, a resident of Towamencin. “We want our customers to know we will remain loyal. The name will change, but it’s the same people.”

You actually do have a good point. MetroJacksonville and other fine organizations should step in and shake things up, making sure the city council and city government stay on their toes.

Maybe that is why it is on the inside facing inside.  That way it is an interior piece and not exterior.  That way the city cant say a peep.

Waybe that is why it is on the inside facing inside.  That way it is an interior piece and not exterior.  That way the city cant say a peep.

It's a shame that we have to go to these lengths just to satisfy the city. I imagine it would be quite fun and amusing to piss off those dried up ol men. Surly they can't stop all of us simultaneously, they won't be able to spare the expense related to enforcing hundreds of "violations" if they're all done in protest at the exact same time.
