Did I hear there was going to be a Wal-Mart (another one?) here?

yes, Avenues Walk will be the home of Jacksonville's next Walmart store.

The Avenues Walk will also be home to Jacksonville's next Wal Mart with a full parking lot. Wal Mart in Jacksonville is like 'Field of Dreams'.

Also to note, in addition to the Japanese restaurant being torn down. The gas station near the future entrance met it's end this week.

Meet me in window treatments.  I love Wal-Mart.  Wal-Mart's in Jacksonville mostly have everything I want; however, the Super-Centers in Bentonville always have everything I want when I want.
