What if Jacksonville suddenly woke up?

Some say,  Jacksonville is a diamond that wants to remain coal . What would it be like if Jacksonville were a city that didn’t hate itself...led by people who look down their noses at its achievements? Here are a few things that possibly would have happened in New York, Rome, London Paris, Seattle, or San Francisco, if they and the leaders that made them into Great Cities had been given our city and history.

We have too many people saying we are a racist city. If we are so racist, I must be one blind bat. I think it's more that we have some racism as does every city and that small percentage is blown up until everyone hears about it and assumes it's a problem. If you want to see racism, go visit Cincinatti, Atlanta, anywhere in New Jersey, Pittsburgh... Those have some extreme race issues. Cincinatti was even mentioned on here, they do not even mix their suburbs there.

Another round of applause.  Jacksonville has so much potential with what already exist.  I am another that must be blind to the huge racism problem that exist here...

So many possibilities and so little leadership and vision! If City Hall doesn't know, it might be time for us taxpayers to step up one small step at a time! It might just be time for the people to tell City Hall to stuff it and take it upon ourselves to do what needs to be done! Much thanks for the vision stephen!

...and we'd have streetcars, commuter rail, Skyway AND bus/brt to feed all of them.
