Good god, I would love to see the commuter rail / Amtrak downtown terminal be a higher priority. Is there any way to virtually tune in or provide feedback for this rescheduled meeting?

Since it is a Public Hearing, as well as the Board meeting, you can attend in person.

The feedback email from the 2050 Path Forward website is: comment@2050pathforward.com

In-person comments, if you can attend, seem to make more of an impact than emails or comment forms.

I do not think they offer a virtual option.

CONSIDER a sane alternative to the $400,000,000 U2C Clown Cars.

“The Oklahoma City streetcar – in dollars per track mile – is one of the best, if not the best, in terms of constructive costs in the country.”
The final construction costs totaled $56.5 million. Maintenance bonds will now be put into effect with Travelers Casualty & Surety Co. of America, Federal Insurance Co. and Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. The streetcar vehicles and maintenance garage bring the total to about $135 million in 2017 or $174 million adjusted for inflation today.”

For this they got 5 miles of true, clean, mass transit. 5 modern battery/electric streetcars, track, maintenance building and other infrastructure.

Put another way, they built an ultra modern system stretching from St. Vincent’s, through the heart of Brooklyn, passing in front of the JRTC Rail Station, and terminating in front of the new 4-Seasons Hotel.
