Preaching to the choir here, but it is a real shame that basically no big transit projects are being proposed on the First Coast when there's so much federal money in the pipeline for it. Just in the last few weeks, Miami-Dade has announced hundreds of millions of dollars toward their proposed people mover, metro, and commuter rail expansions. FDOT has responded with over $100 million in funding for commuter rail, and there's likely more coming for the rest. It's not like we've outright rejected transportation funding like Orange and Hillsborough have, we've just… not sought it.
