Well, this doesn't suck.

Starting small, but it's a start nonetheless!

Good news for those wanting to go into Law.

VyStar? I thought UNF had classrooms in the Barnett?

I didn't realize that Florida Coastal had gone under, not surprising though.

OK, that's what I get for waking up too early ... UNF / JU are they different?
I will now go drink some Geritol and gum a bowl of jello ...

JU has been subleasing space in the Vystar Tower since 2016, with the first classes held in the building in the Spring of 2017.

DIA gave JU $275k to help open the satellite campus at that time.

Strongly considering a pretty substantial offer to attend here. Obviously some risk involved, but a great deal of opportunity to define what this program will be.

Congrats! Wish you much luck to whatever school and path you decide to take.

My two cents. Always think about what is the best long term move. If you get into UF or FSU law (with no scholarship money), it's an absolute no brainer to take loans out to attend those schools, vs. a free ride at a new law school with no alumni network. Everyone I know and have met that went to UF or FSU law gets great jobs out of school. There is no guarantee at other law schools.

My uncle did undergrad at Duke and had a full ride to Duke law, but took loans out to go to Harvard Law. That paid for itself and then some.

If its a free ride to JU, vs. having to pay to Stetson, Nova, FAMU, etc that is a tougher call. Good luck!

JU’s inaugural Law class began this week.

However, I’m not among them as I have accepted an offer from Rutgers Law School, so I’ll be moving up to New Jersey this week to start classes soon. Best of luck to those starting at JU, though!
