Great story, Lake.

I believe the Bayard Antique Village was formerly the first location of the now nearly extinct Horne's chain, a competitor to Stuckey's that only has one remaining location in Port Royal, Virginia.
The tourist would realize at once that he had struck the Land of Flowers - the City Beautiful!
