Word on the street is the city is introducing legislation to reorg their sports and entertainment division. Would probably be Brian Hughe's first big hire as new CAO. Any ideas on who they would pick to head up the new division since letting Dave Herral go? I assume they are keeping the rest of the structure the same.

^Interesting.

I've always got the impression that the Curry camp didn't really buy the necessity of the position.

Wouldn't be surprised to see more of these responsiblities offloaded to Bold Events and other entities, like we're seeing with Gator Bowl operations.

Small correction, Dave Herrell resigned, they didn't let him go. Something certainly may have happenend, but he officially resigned and took on more responsiblity with Visit Quad Cities.

And thank god they are doing it. Catlett has run that game into the ground.
