10 bucks says the first Yelp review is 5 stars by someone from San Francisco and it is their first review.

Lol - per their price point it looks like they want to compete with Matthews.  18 dollar burgers and 29 dollar pastas

Brings back memories of the people who jumped on MJ to review the International Grill...https://www.metrojacksonville.com/forum/index.php/topic,13851.0.html

I walked by yesterday afternoon... it still looked abandoned to me... perhaps the inside is renovated... or the food is good...
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

The Starbucks crew should have a pretty good idea what is going on. I will ask them.

The web site has a very detailed "about the chef" section. My favorites from the Awards section:

Participant in New York Culinary Competition (2003)
Grand Lido San Souci - Jamaica's 2nd Best Hot Coconut Tenderloin (2000)

If he had taken Jamaica's Best Hot Coconut Tenderloin, he would have been considered. My standards are pretty high.

Any update on this place? - cant wait for it to go under and perhaps provide an opportunity for someone to finally do something with this location.

Non-profit I'm involved with is having a party there next month.  Apparently they have done a lot of work in the space including redoing all of the horrible plumbing that caused Indochine to smell awful

These sound like banners that would hang in the Colts' stadium.

Does anyone know who owns the building?  Any plumbing problems go with the owner, not necessarily the tenant.

I  still don't even know if they are really open except for events. For their sake, I hope I am wrong but it seems like lighting money on fire.

I am so sick of this location being crap, even I am tempted to bankroll someone who seems competent.
